“The Other Side of Death” CD Project
We are on a mission to distribute 100 of these CD’s per month about life on The Other Side of Death. If you have been one of those who have received this CD, we would love to hear from you.

We began a very limited distribution in Charlotte, NC in September 2008. On our next visit to that city in the spring, we hope to multiply our distribution many folds. We expect to begin distribution in Houston by December 1st, in the vicinity of FM 1960 and Veterans Memorial.
Our hope is that Jesus will use this CD to reach our target audience – the unchurched and the unbeliever. We would love to hear about its impact or lack of impact on your life or the lives of your family and friends. So be generous and share it with them, won’t you?
God thanks you! And we thank you!
Hope, Health, & Healing
His Touch can bring you hope where there is none. His touch can bring you health in a health less situation. And His touch can bring healing when doctors reach their end. His Touch!
Are you losing hope?
Have you lost hope already? As you look at the rest of today, are you feeling like you don’t care if you live to see tomorrow or not? No. You’re not thinking about suicide. But if you died today, that would be OK. You wish it would all just go away? If you could only have some peace. As you ponder your next move, there is only a blur, an emptiness, a blank space out front. Yet you can find hope, if you know where to look.
You haven’t been feeling well all week, not physically, but emotionally. You don’t know just when it all started. But this past week, it has pounced on you like an angry bear! And it won’t let go. You have tried to drink it away or drug it away, or sex it away, or sleep it away. But nothing, and I mean nothing, you have done has put even a single dent in it. As a matter of fact, everything you have done seems to make matters worst. Oh! It helps for a short while. But when it wears off, or when it is over, you are an even worst emotional wreck than before.
Now it is two o’clock in the morning. You can’t sleep. There’s no one to call. No one you want to call. So you ask the “Why” questions of yourself: Why is this happening to me? Why is my life such a mess? Why can’t I find some peace? You consider your best friend. “She’s happy. You never hear her complaining!” You look at your buddy. “He’s always smiling, cheerful, Mr. Happy-go-lucky. Why can’t I be like that? Oh God!!”
What did you say? Whose name did you just call? God? But why? Why did you even say that name? Do you know anything about Him? Is this just a common term you use in your disgust? Or do you think there may be a God out there somewhere and it would be nice to hear from Him about now?
Scripture tells us that GOD IS LOVE. If He is love, how can He do anything but love us? And the love of God was made known to us in that God sent His only begotten Son into the world that we might live through Him. Think about that for a moment. God loves YOU so much, that He became a man so He could remove the curse and entice you to seek Him. And for what reason does He want you to seek Him? Is it that He might want to pour His love into your life as well? Yes for that reason! God loves you with a love you have never even thought about, never even knew existed, let alone experienced. And right now, He is waiting for you to come to the end of your rope, to the realization that nothing in this world can alleviate, dispel, your sorrow. If you would only admit you’re hopeless. You need His help. Your only hope is in Him!
Jesus, the Son of God, is wooing you right now. He is saying to you right now, “Come unto Me you who are burden and heavy laden, and I will give you rest. I will give you peace.” You already know nothing else you have tried has worked. And now there is a voice in your head screaming that this God thing is silly, its foolishness! Don’t listen to it. It’s the voice of the deceiver. His number one objective is to keep you from God. It is the deceiver who keeps telling you to try this and try that, anything but “Try God”. Don’t listen to that voice.
There is another voice, a still, quiet voice saying, “I am the way, I am the truth, I am the life”. But you may not hear Him until you become still, and quiet, and expectant. Listen to this voice. Ask Jesus to come into your heart, to give you peace, to give you a new hope. “If you are real Jesus, be real to me!” “If you are real, please be real to me!! Yes. It may sound silly. But what have you to lose? Don’t think about anything else. Just say the words out loud and expect Him to act. See also Four Steps To God.
The Lord bless you, and keep you: The Lord make His face shine upon you, and be gracious unto you: The Lord lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace.

Seeking God?: You Can Live Forever!
Summary
Mankind has a problem. You are a part of mankind. Therefore, you have a problem. But God has the answer. However, you must believe Jesus Christ. Not on the basis of good works. He is the gift of God. You can be certain you have eternal life.
Detailed Explanation
I. Mankind Has a Problem
A. All Have Sinned. All are guilty.
“All of us like sheep have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way;” (Isaiah 53:6).
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,” (Romans 3:23).
All of us have a basic disease, sin, which defiles us and cuts us off from the holy God who created us, who loves us, and who cares for us (Mark 7:1-23).
Sin is anything that does not conform to the character of God. Sin’s “root is the basic disease of rebellion against God, of going our own way rather than His, of saying to the Creator, I know better than You how to run my life.”
Sin alienates man (you and me) from God.
B. The Penalty of Sin
“For the wages of sin is death,” (Romans 6:23a).
For our work of sin, for our rebellion against the commandments of God, mankind has earned “death”. Mankind has earned the penalty of “death” – eternal separation from the love, grace, and mercy of God.
“And inasmuch as it is appointed for men to die once and after this comes judgment,” (Hebrews 9:27). Then mankind will be required to pay the full penalty of our sins.
“And He (God) gave Him (Jesus) authority to execute judgment,” (John 5:27).
II. You are a part of mankind. Therefore,
A. You have a problem
If you have committed even one sin, you have a problem. Have you ever lied? Have you ever stolen from anyone? Had sex outside of marriage?
B. Your penalty is death
The wages you have earned for your sin is death. But there is a way out for you.
III. God Has the Answer
A. Christ has paid your Penalty!!
“But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8).
“He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness (have the character) of God in Him” (2 Corinthians 5:21).
B. Believers Not Judged
“He who believes in Him (Jesus) is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God” (John 3:18).
“In Him (Jesus) we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses (sin), according to the riches of His grace, which he lavished upon us”, (Ephesians 1:7-8a).
You can be redeemed from a life of sin and its consequences. How?
IV. You Must Receive Jesus Christ
A. You must believe Christ
Jesus said He is the Son of God, sent from the Father (God). “I came forth from the Father, and have come into the world; I am leaving the world again, and going to the Farther”, (John 16:28).
Jesus was crucified on the cross in your place, the just for the unjust. On the third day, He arose from the dead (Luke 24:33-49) as a sign of God’s acceptance of His sacrifice, a sign that God has forgiven your sins, as well as a sign of His deity.
You must believe Jesus. You must trust in Jesus alone, not good works, to have your sins forgiven and to give you eternal life, (John 5:24).
B. You must receive Christ
It is not enough just to know the facts of Jesus. The Christian walk involves a commitment to a loving and obedient relationship with Christ. Jesus says, “Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him, and will dine with him, and he with Me”, (Revelation 3:20).
Jesus is knocking at your door right now. You must invite Him to come into your life, invite Him to make Himself known to you. He will not force His way in. He only comes at your invitation through your sincere invitation, your sincere prayer.
V. Not on the basis of good Works
“He saved us, not on the basis of deeds (works, being good) which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy”, (Titus 3:5).
“For we maintain that a man is justified by faith [in Jesus] apart from works of the Law”, (Romans 3:28).
Give up what you are trusting to get you to heaven or to get you eternal life. Trust in Jesus Christ. He is the only way to heaven. He is the only way to eternal live.
VI. He is the Gift of God
“For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one should boast”, (Ephesians 2:8-9).
VII. You Can Be Certain You Have Eternal Life
“Truly, truly, I (Jesus) say to you, he who hears My word, and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life”, (John 5:24).
Judgment is certain! But if you have Jesus, you will not enter into judgment. If you have Jesus, you have eternal life, already.
VIII. We invite you to trust Jesus today

He already knows who you are. He knows what you have done. Confess your sins. Give Him your pain, your hurt, your disappointments. Tell it all to Him right now. He is waiting anxiously to hear from you!

Your Business With God?
Do You Have Your Business Straight With God?
You have a date with death! Is your business straight? Do you know what will happen to you when you die? God made you. God set the date for you to be born and He has set the date for you to die. And He has set your destination on the other side of death. He has given you two choices – Life with Him or Life without Him. The choice is yours but you have to make your choice before you die. If you fail to act, Adam & Eve has made the choice for you – Life without God. That’s what God calls death and it is eternal (forever!). There are no second chances. And God is requiring you to make your choice while in the body. The other side of death is too late. When you are standing before Him, it will be too late.
God has sent you His instructions through His prophets and in these last days He has sent His Son. God has encouraged us to “Listen to Him!”
“Now this is His commandment (instruction): that we believe in the name of his Son Jesus Christ and love one another, just as he gave us the commandment.” (NET)
Jesus is the Son of the living God! He came to earth 2000 years ago to reveal the Father to us and to tell us what God, the Father, requires of us. So the question is “Whom do you believe?” Eve believed the devil. Now look at the sin in the world. Do you believe the devil too, or do you believe God?
God loves you more than you will ever know. That’s why, even though you are a sinner deserving death (Life Without Him), He has provided you a way out. You can’t overcome your death sentence the way you want to, the way you think it ought to be. He is God. He has given you your only option.
Make our joy complete! Please! Get your business straight with God, and do it now. YOU CAN HAVE ETERNAL LIFE, TODAY! Tomorrow just might be TOO LATE!!

What are you doing about Jesus Christ?
What Did Your mom tell you?
I grew up in church. My parents were both devoted Christians. In terms of their relationship with Jesus, I find nothing to complain about. They made us go to church every Sunday. We had family prayer every morning. They, along with the church, taught me a lot about what it means to be a Christian, not preaching to me or cramming it down my throat, but living it and talking about it.
My extended family was the same way. My father had twelve brothers and sisters. My mother had three brothers. I grew up around most of my first cousins. Most of them had parents who were believers, who went to church every Sunday. Christianity was a way of life for us.
As you read this, you may be thinking about your own childhood, how your mom or your dad, or maybe your grandparents, were believers. They took you to church. They talked to you about God, about Jesus. They told you how far God had brought them, how He brought them through the hard times, how God had protected them. You saw them pray daily, even several times a day. You heard them say they were depending on the Lord. But as you saw it then and as you see it now, the Lord doesn’t seem so dependable to you!
So you have concluded that God does not exist. Or maybe you have decided He does exist, but He is not interested in you or anyone you know. You have observed all the evil perpetrated by man on other men. You’ve noticed how the “bad boys” are getting over. So you decided to get you some too. You see how the rich often lie and cheat their way to the top, how those in high places deceive us, how they have structured society to help themselves get over on the middle class and the poor folk.
You’ve turned to a life of drugs to ease your pain, your sorrow, your disappointments, your rejection, your inadequacies. So now, you have decided to take what you want. That’s what the people are doing who are getting over. You’re going to do the same thing. You’ve decided to catch some naive, unsuspecting businessman alone, and take what he has. You wait in a dark, opened, and empty warehouse near the hotel parking lot where many of them stay. Maybe you’ll get lucky.
Late one day, as the sun was setting, you and your friend see one wandering in the parking lot. Maybe he’ll wander your way. You wait anxiously, yet patiently. Lo and behold, he strolls into the unlighted warehouse. When he is far enough in so you won’t be seen, you and your friend make your move. You grab a piece of pipe from the floor. Your friend sneaks around and grabs him from the back. You stroll over in front of him. You are dressed like you just came up out of the gutter. And you smell like it too. You’ve got your mean face on. You want him to know you mean business. Anger consumes you as you think about how he has a life of luxury and you can’t even get a fix when you need it. You waive the pipe in his face. Your friend, six foot one, 250 pounds, “big baby”, grips him tighter. You get in his face, “your money and your wallet”. He is terrified but he acts like he can’t hear you. You tell him again, only louder, “your money and your wallet, sucker!” He still hasn’t moved. So you begin drawing back the pipe to bang his head in. As you do, he speaks out of nowhere, “What are you doing about Jesus Christ?”
His question causes you to freeze! You can’t move! Your friend, “big baby”, screams at you, “What’s the matter with you man?” You can’t speak. Your brain is going a hundred miles an hour. Your mom’s face is flashing before your eyes. You hear her telling you about Jesus. You hear her saying, “Baby, give your life to Jesus before it’s too late!” You hear her telling you how to live your life like God says, how to carry yourself, how to treat others; don’t rob, don’t steal. Suddenly, you drop the pipe, turn and run, leaving “big baby” behind. Not knowing what you’re doing, he chases after you. You can’t get your mom’s voice out of your head! Something strange, very strange is happening to you. Big baby is totally frustrated and angry because you’re acting so crazy. “What’s your problem, man?!”
Maybe you haven’t gone that far yet, but you are far from being what your mom or your grandmother taught you to be. If they could see you now, they would be totally ashamed of what you have become. Their hearts would be broken, shattered; their hopes destroyed! Would they want you back in their house?
Does any of this sound anything like you? If you can relate to it in any way, God is speaking to you. And He is asking, “What are you doing about Jesus Christ?” What are you doing about the Jesus your mom, your grandmother talked about? She has been praying night and day, crying out to God to save her son, save her daughter. Pleading with Him, “Save my child, Lord!” “Save my child!”And God is answering her prayer right now. Don’t you hear His voice! Don’t you feel His presence, His tugging at your heart? Don’t say no. Don’t push Him away. Don’t put it off. Submit yourself to His call. Give yourself over to His care. Say “Yes Lord!” “Yes Lord!”
Let Him love you the way you need to be loved. Forget about what your friends will think. They’re looking for God too, just like you. But you have already found Him! Now you’ll be able to help your friends. Give it up to Jesus right now. Tell Him right now that you can feel Him tugging at your heart. You can feel His presence. You want to submit to Him.
So you’re not sure how to do it. Ask Him to show you how. Then speak what comes naturally, what you feel in your heart, no pretense, no show, just the real you talking to the real person, the Almighty, Living God. The Father of us all.
JESUS LOVES YOU!! He is the way, the truth, and the life! You will find Him, if you search for Him with your whole heart.
